Talk!

Talk! is a collection of resources developed to make it easier for adults to talk with children and young people about their online experiences. The English versions are gathered here. Talk! (originally Snakk!) is based on the research project DigiGen.

About Talk!

The DigiGen research project showed that children and young people need dialogue with adults regarding what they encounter online. Talk! aims to facilitate fun and interesting conversations about their digital experiences. To learn more, click "About Talk!".

Conversation cards

These cards contain questions, dilemmas, and quotes related to the digital experiences of children and young people. They can be used digitally or in print.

Discussion board

This activity is a Four-in-a-row game based on the conversation cards. As the participants play the game, they discuss and reflect on their digital lives, including their use of social media and video games.

Chatterbox

This chatterbox provides a tactile entry to the discussion. Let the pupils use it in pairs or small groups. Encourage them to explain and elaborate on their answers.
